FGF-16 Structure

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 25.6 kDa. The protein migrates as 25-27 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).

Human FGF-16 Protein, His Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 90% (With Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker).

 

背景(Background)

This gene encodes a member of a family of proteins that are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This gene is expressed in cardiac cells and is required for proper heart development. Mutation in this gene was also observed in individuals with metacarpal 4-5 fusion.
