Vitronectin, a key extracellular matrix glycoprotein, exerts crucial effects on stem cell adhesion, proliferation, differentiation, self-renewal maintenance, cell survival, and integrin-mediated signaling. It exists as a monomeric glycoprotein with a modular structure, containing functional domains that bind to integrins (e.g., αvβ3, αvβ5), heparin, and other matrix components. Different isoforms, including plasma-derived and cell-secreted vitronectin, play distinct roles in stem cell niche regulation, tissue regeneration, and cell-matrix crosstalk—particularly critical for maintaining stem cell pluripotency and guiding directed differentiation.​

To support the advancement of stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine research, ACROBiosystems developed Human Vitronectin Quantitative ELISA Kit with strict methodological validation. This kit is specifically designed for the detection and quantitative determination of vitronectin in stem cell culture supernates, serum, plasma, and cell lysates.
