Mouse GFAP, His Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%.

背景（Background）
GFAP (Glial fibrillary acidic protein) is a monomeric intermediate filament protein fuond in mature astrocytes and other glial cells but is not found outside the CNS. Increased GFAP immunoreactivity (or astrocytic activation) is usually viewed as an index of gliosis or a relatively slow-developing correlate of neural damage.
