Biotinylated Human BTLA (31-150), His,Avitag (BTA-H82E6) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Lys 31 - Ser 150 (Accession # AAP44003.1).

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag.
The protein has a calculated MW of 17.4 kDa. The protein migrates as 28-42 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Biotinylation of this product is performed using Avitag™ technology. Briefly, the single lysine residue in the Avitag is enzymatically labeled with biotin.
The biotin to protein ratio is 0.5-1 as determined by the HABA assay.
Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.

As a lymphocyte inhibitory receptor, BTLA / CD272 inhibits lymphocytes during immune response. BTLA / CD272 can interact with tyrosine phosphatases PTPN6/SHP-1 and PTPN11/SHP-2, and interact with TNFRSF14/HVEM.
